Bobcat Defender Breidenbach Commits to Concordia

MOORHEAD, MN – Fresh off of a two-year NAHL profession with the Bismarck Bobcats, defenseman Tanner Breidenbach has dedicated to play NCAA hockey for Concordia College beginning within the fall of 2018.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to play college hockey and continue my career at the NCAA level,” said Breidenbach, who joined the Bobcats in 2016 as a young signee out of Apollo High School in St. Cloud, Minn., roughly 170 miles east of Concordia’s campus. “To be able to play near family and friends, just a couple hours away, makes it that much better.”

A 1997-birthyear blueliner, Breidenbach had 4 targets and 14 assists in 92 appearances for the Bobcats however missed many of the second half of the 2017-18 season with a foot harm suffered whereas blocking a shot in apply in late December.

“I chose Concordia because I like Coach [Chris] Howe and his staff and the Fargo-Moorhead area,” added Breidenbach, whose school vacation spot is sort of half manner between Bismarck/Mandan and his house city of St. Cloud. “The campus is really nice and I’m excited to get there in the fall.”
